Greetings fellow believers, I am here to discuss something that's been on my mind lately.

When it comes to dating and relationships women at church are too picky and judgemental. They seem to seek perfection, which is a tall order considering only God is perfect (Matthew 5:48). The irony, however, lies in the fact that such expectations are sometimes carried by those who, in my humble opinion, aren't that much of a catch either.

Now, let me elaborate. Many of our Christian sisters often sport a rather conventional, shall we say, 'fuddy-duddy' sense of style, which is their choice, of course. However, their approach to relationships within the church community often leaves me puzzled. They tend to reject men based on petty things - popularity, for instance. Some even cast judgment and ingnore you before they've had a proper chance to get to know you. Yet, these very same women seem to have no qualms about dating or marrying non-Christian men. Isn't that contradictory?

The Bible, in 2 Corinthians 6:14, sternly warns against being yoked with unbelievers. It's puzzling how these women, who say they consider their faith so important to them, would willingly choose to be with someone who does not believe in our Savior, Jesus Christ. This makes me question the authenticity of their faith.

Relationships aside, another issue is their behavior within the community - the judgment, the exclusivity, the cliques. This doesn't seem to align with the Christian attitude of acceptance and love, as exemplified by Jesus, who opened his arms to everyone (Mark 2:15-17).

Frankly, I believe we, as men, shouldn't fret about their approval. After all, do we really want to associate with such judgmental attitudes? Aren't we here to follow Jesus' teachings and embody his acceptance and love for everyone?

I'd love to hear from you all. Have any of you encountered similar experiences? What are your thoughts on this matter? Do share below!
