I recently had the misfortune of purchasing a Logitech mouse and keyboard set, the MK470 Slim Combo, for my laptop. I really wish I hadn't made that mistake. Let me tell you, the experience was nothing short of a disaster, and I'm here to vent my frustration and encourage others to share their dreadful experiences as well.

To begin with, the build quality was beyond disappointing. Both the keyboard and mouse felt like they were made from the most fragile plastic on the planet. The moment I laid a finger on them, they seemed to acquire scratches as if by magic. Every attempt to attach or detach the covers was nerve-wracking, as if they might snap with the slightest pressure. The mouse cover was particularly infuriating—it barely stayed on and would detach at the slightest nudge, making it utterly useless.

The design of the receiver dongle was equally poor. It was so tiny that losing it seemed inevitable, but that wasn't the worst part. Once inserted, it wedged itself into my computer so tightly that removing it was near impossible. This ultimately damaged one of my USB ports on a brand-new laptop, leaving it unusable. Absolutely outrageous.

Ergonomics? Forget about it. The mouse's shape was bizarre and uncomfortable, and the keyboard's minuscule legs meant it barely raised at all, making typing a painful chore.

The lag was nothing short of maddening. The mouse, in particular, felt as if it were wading through molasses, each movement delayed to the point of absurdity. In this day and age, where technology is expected to be seamless and intuitive, encountering such lag is unacceptable.

Security was another glaring issue. These devices installed their drivers without any checks, and there didn't seem to be any meaningful security measures in place. Anyone with a tampered dongle could, in theory, intercept the frequency and potentially hack your system. This lack of security is deeply concerning.

Logitech, you ought to be ashamed. Your overpriced junk is ripping people off, and it's about time we shine a light on this sham. I sent the set back because it was so dreadful, but not before it damaged my laptop. I'm livid.
