Alright, what's the crack with Tucker Carlson getting the sack from Fox news? So, apparently he was spouting some outlandish conspiracy theories about the election being rigged which got fox news sued. But, of course, there are those wacky Donald Trump supporters who think he was fired because of his views, and that it's some sort of attack on freedom of speech. Give me a break.
In reality, old Tucker lost Fox news a nearly $1 billion in a defamation settlement with a voting machine manufacturer. That's some serious dough, and I doubt they're too happy about it so it made sense to fire him if hes costing them that much money which his broadcasting.
But, those Donald Trump cultists will never see it that way. They'll always have some convenient conspiracy theory to back them up. It's like they're living in a parallel universe where the truth doesn't exist, and the only thing that matters is their own warped version of reality. It's enough to make your head spin.
Now, don't get me wrong, I don't want Joe Biden to get a second term in office. That would be bad news for everyone. But at the same time, we need to have some truth in our politics. Not lies and conspiracy theories that help no one. We need leaders who are honest, transparent, and willing to do what's right for the people, not just themselves.
To be honest, I don't even want either the Republicans or the Democrats running America. They're both as bad as each other. If the Republicans get in, they'll be on Putin's side faster than you can say "borscht." And if the Democrats take over, they'll just push their extreme, immoral social agendas. It's a lose-lose situation, and we're all stuffed either way.
But hey, that's just my two cents. What do you reckon? Do you think Tucker Carlson got the chop because of his views, or was it really just about the money? And who do you think should be running America? Let me know in the comments, and we'll have a good old chinwag about it.
