Alright, lads. I need your help. I think I've got carpal tunnel syndrome. I was doing a bit of DIY last week and was hammering nails all day. Now my hand is killing me and I can barely type. What can I do?

Ah, mate. I feel your pain. I once damaged my thumb playing football as a goalie. The ball smacked it and bent it backwards. It was agony. But, I found that resting it and wearing a brace really helped. You should definitely look into getting a brace.

I second that, mate. I had a thumb injury too and wore a RevitaFit thumb brace which really helped me. It's comfortable and doesn't restrict your movement too much. Plus, it's affordable too.

Cheers for the advice, lads. I'll definitely look into getting a brace. I just don't want it to be too restrictive as I still need to use my hand for work.

Yeah, I know what you mean. The last thing you want is to be even more limited in what you can do. Maybe try some hand exercises too? That might help ease the pain and prevent further damage. And don't forget to rest your hand, mate. I know you don't want to go to the GP, but they might be able to give you some good advice too. Plus, better safe than sorry, innit?

Yeah, I suppose you're right. Maybe I'll give them a call and see what they say. Thanks for the help, lads. You're all stars.

Aye up, no need to fret! Reckon it's a grand plan to have a word with a doctor if thee hands and wrists are giving your jip. It's better to be safe than sorry, dontcha think? They can give you some belting advice on how to sort it out, like getting your sen a wrist splint, popping some painkillers, and doing a bit of hand exercises to get thyself ship-shape. In some cases, they might even suggest a bit of surgery. And if you're always grafting with your hands and wrists, you should take betetr care of them next time.
