Hello everyone,

I'm here to warn you all about an awful company called "HealthandCare." They masquerade as a reputable health care provider but are nothing more than rip-off merchants selling overpriced junk. They peddle cheap, low-quality products from China and pass them off as premium medical supplies. It's outrageous!

Let me tell you about my experience. I bought a knee brace from them, thinking it would help with my knee pain. What a mistake! The brace was a flimsy piece of garbage that hurt my knee even more when I wore it. It was painfully clear it was made from cheap materials with no regard for medical standards. And the price? Absolutely ridiculous! They charged an arm and a leg for something that barely qualifies as a product, let alone a medical device.

When I tried to contact them to return the item, my emails were ignored. Can you believe it? No response whatsoever. They take your money and run, leaving you with junk and no way to get your money back. It's infuriating!

How could they do this to people? How can they sleep at night knowing they're preying on vulnerable individuals looking for genuine health care products? The audacity of these scammers is mind-boggling!

Don't be fooled by their pretenses. HealthandCare is a scam. Their products are a joke, their customer service is non-existent, and their prices are absurd. If you or someone you know has had a similar experience, please share it here. Let's expose these frauds for what they are and prevent others from falling into their trap.

I'm also planning to post tips and tricks in this thread later on to help you avoid scams like this. What happened to me has really upset me, and I don't want anyone else to go through the same ordeal.

Speak up! Share your stories below. Together, we can spread the word and stop these scammers in their tracks.

I ordered a blood pressure monitor for my 78-year-old grandmother, who desperately needs it to keep an eye on her health. What I got was a worthless, defective piece of junk that didn't even function. It's infuriating!

But things got even worse when I looked at my bank statement. There were random fraudulent withdrawals—someone had the audacity to steal my money! It's one thing to sell substandard crap, but outright theft? That's beyond outrageous!

I urge everyone to be extremely cautious. If you’ve bought anything from these con artists, check your financial statements immediately and spread the word. These people aren’t just scammers; they are outright thieves!

I see I’m not alone in this nightmare. My gran needed some proper care stuff, and Healthandcare looked all nice and legit. Pfft, what a joke! We got conned big time. The stuff they sent us—are you having a laugh? It’s barely fit for the bin!

The worst part? They’ve got zero customer service. Zilch. Nada. Tried ringing them, emailing… nothing. It’s like they’ve vanished into thin air once they’ve got your money. How is this even allowed?

And aye, the prices! We're talking day-light robbery here. They’re vile, preying on folk who can’t even defend themselves properly. My gran’s worse off now than she ever was. These scumbags need to be exposed. Healthandcare? More like HealthandSCAM! Who else has been caught in their web of lies?

Let me tell you, these folks are nothing but charlatans preying on vulnerable souls like us. I had the sheer misfortune of buying their so-called silver socks a couple of months back from their other scammy website raynaudsdiease(dot)com, thinking they’d help my Raynaud’s disease. What a colossal mistake!

I coughed up £30 of my hard-earned cash for a pair of these so-called "miracle" socks. The website made them out to be some amazing cure for raynauds diease, but what did I get? Pure rubbish! These socks weren’t even made from real silver. They were just cheap, flimsy acrylic threads sewn together—looked like something you’d pick up at the market for a couple of quid, not the premium product they promised.

The worst part? These socks did absolutely NOTHING for my Raynaud’s disease. I put them on, went out, and bam! Straight away, I had a Raynaud’s episode. My toes were icy and white within minutes. How can they even sleep at night knowing they’re selling this garbage to people in need?

To make matters worse, just like the OP mentioned, trying to get any sort of customer service from them is a joke. Emails ignored, no response, nothing. They take your money and vanish into thin air, leaving you with overpriced junk and no way to get a refund. It’s infuriating!

I’m absolutely disgusted that this company can get away with this scam. Their products are a joke, their customer service is non-existent, and their prices are criminal.

Update: How to Avoid Scams Like HealthandCare and What to Do If You've Been Scammed

Hello everyone,

Thanks to all who shared their experiences with the disgraceful HealthandCare. It's clear that we need to arm ourselves with knowledge to avoid falling into similar traps. Here are some tips and tricks I've gathered to help you steer clear of scams and what to do if you’ve already been scammed.

Tips to Avoid Scams:

  1. Research Thoroughly: Before making any purchase, especially if it’s health-related, do a thorough background check on the company. Look for reviews from multiple sources. Be wary if all reviews are overwhelmingly positive or if there are no reviews at all.

  2. Check the Return Policy: Legitimate companies have clear, detailed return policies. If the return policy is vague, nonexistent, or overly restrictive, it’s a red flag.

  3. Secure Payment Methods: Use payment methods that offer buyer protection. Avoid direct bank transfers or other non-reversible payment methods. Credit cards are often safer because they offer chargeback options.

  4. Look for Contact Information: Trustworthy companies provide multiple ways to contact them, such as phone numbers, emails, and physical addresses. Test these contact methods before making a purchase if you're suspicious.

  5. Beware of Unrealistic Prices: If the price seems too good to be true, it probably is. Scammers often lure victims with unbelievably low prices for high-value items.

What to Do If You've Been Scammed:

  1. Act Quickly: The sooner you act, the better your chances of recovering your money.

  2. Request a Chargeback: If you paid by credit card, contact your bank or card issuer and request a chargeback. A chargeback is a process where the bank reverses the transaction, taking the money back from the scammer and returning it to you. Explain the situation in detail and provide any evidence you have.

  3. Report the Scam: Report the scam to consumer protection agencies. This can help prevent others from falling victim to the same scam.

  4. Contact the Company: Sometimes, simply contacting the company and demanding a refund can work. Scammers often rely on victims not taking action.

  5. Monitor Your Accounts: Keep a close eye on your bank and credit card statements for any unusual activity. Scammers may try to take more money or use your information for other fraudulent activities.

Sweet, Sweet Revenge:

By initiating a chargeback, not only do you have a chance to get your money back, but you also hit the scammers where it hurts – their wallet. Banks often fine companies for chargebacks, which means these fraudulent businesses end up losing more money. It’s a small victory, but it feels great, doesn’t it?

Let's stay vigilant and help each other navigate these treacherous waters. Share these tips with anyone you know who might be at risk. Together, we can make it harder for scammers to exploit honest people.

Have more tips or stories? Share them here! Let's keep this conversation going.

Stay safe and scam-free!

Hello everyone,

After sharing my recent ordeal with HealthandCare, I felt compelled to offer some advice on why it's crucial not to trust just any website when purchasing health products online, especially not HealthandCare. Here's why:

The Dark Side of HealthandCare

HealthandCare sells products that are not only overpriced but potentially dangerous! They exploit the elderly and vulnerable, people desperately seeking relief from their health conditions. These charlatans—yes, that's what they are—have no qualms about ripping off these individuals. Their products are garbage, and it's pure evil. I can't stress enough how angry and sick it makes me feel knowing such disgusting pigs are preying on those in need.

By law health products need to meet specific UK standards, such as CE marking and MHRA approval. These standards ensure that products are safe for use and effective in their intended purpose. Without these regulations, you could end up with a product that does more harm than good.

My Experience and the Need for Action

I've seen firsthand how HealthandCare's products fall short. They don't adhere to any of these standards. They're low-quality, often made in China, and can be purchased for pennies on wholesale websites such as Alibaba. Yet, HealthandCare charges a fortune for them. This isn't just a rip-off; it's dangerous!

Take their knee braces, for example. They're totally useless and could actually cause harm. A bad knee brace can mess up your knee's support and alignment, making injuries worse or even causing new ones. Plus, poorly made braces can irritate your skin, cause discomfort, and restrict blood flow. This can lead to swelling, pain, and even serious issues like deep vein thrombosis. Plus if you think your knee brace is helping but it's not, you might end up pushing yourself too hard and causing more damage.

Honestly, HealthandCare and similar companies need to be shut down by Trading Standards. They're not just overcharging people; they're selling dangerous products. This has to stop!

Take Action!

If you've been scammed by HealthandCare, report them to Trading Standards immediately. The more reports filed, the more likely these scammers will get what they deserve. Let's band together and take them down!
