Yo, what the fuck is up with Amazon Prime Day?! 🤑 Every damn year, it’s the same shit—everyone losing their minds over so-called "deals" on Amazon. With Amazon Prime your basically paying those bastards for the privilege to buy their shit!

Amazon Prime deals ain’t what they’re cracked up to be. Those sneaky fuckers jack up the prices weeks before the sale, only to bring them back down to the original price on Prime Day. And what do we do? We fall for it, thinking we’re getting some massive deal! They’re taking us for a ride, man. 😡

And that’s not even the worst of it. The shit they're selling? Old stock and junk that nobody wants. Slap an "offer" label on it, and suddenly people are lining up to buy this cheaply made garbage. It’s wrecking the planet and making Jeff Bezos, the greediest bastard around, even richer. 🌍💰

People need to wake the fuck up and stop buying shit they don’t need from Amazon. We’re just feeding the beast.

What do you think? Are you as pissed off as I am, or are you still drinking the Amazon Kool-Aid? 🍹 Let’s hear it!

Ugh yeah I get what you mean and those crazy-ass delivery vans? They don’t give a single fuck if they’re hitting a speed bump or running over a child, as long as they get their Chinese-made crap to your doorstep on time. It’s absolute madness! 🚛💨 I was out in my car and one of their shitty vans cut across me and I had to hit the brakes and stop, hoping the car behind didn’t smash into the back of me. Then the stupid Amazon delivery van stops and parks on double yellow lines further down the road without a care in the world. I’m done with this nonsense!

Absolutely agree with you! Amazon Prime Day is just a massive scam. They lure us in with flashy "deals," but it’s all smoke and mirrors. Most of the products are just junk they couldn't sell before.

@Andy don’t get me started on those delivery vans! They drive like maniacs, endangering everyone on the road.

We really need to stop feeding this corporate beast and be more mindful of where we spend our money.

IAbsolutely, couldn't agree more! Let's also not forget about the whole tax dodging issue. Amazon whislt rakin in all this dosh avoids paying billions in tax. Meanwhile, local businesses that are already having a tough time competing are paying their taxes like they should. It's so frustrating to see such a wealthy company exploiting loopholes to get out of paying taxes. We should be backing businesses that actually contribute to our communities and economies, not just helping the super-rich get even richer.

I never buy anything from amazon now. What really ticks me off is how they maniptulte the reviews. They seem to fill product pages with fake or incentivized positive reviews just to make their stuff look good. So many people, including myself, have been duped by these glowing reviews and ended up with junk. It's so frustrating and unfair. Happened to me too many times—reading all those great reviews, deciding to buy, and then the product turns out to be total garbage. That's when you realize all those reviews were just fake. Never again, I say!

Beyond just the crappy deals, think about the environmental toll. The mass production of low-quality items that end up in landfills, the excessive packaging, and the carbon footprint of next day deilvery are all contributing to an unsustainable consumer culture. Amazon Prime Day is just a massive marketing ploy that perpetuates waste and overconsumption. It’s high time we start considering the planet in our buying decisions. :/

What a lot of people don’t realize is how much this affects small businesses. Amazon's got these prices that seem super low, but it's mostly because they're pushing cheaply made products. Meanwhile, small businesses usually have higher quality stuff, but it costs more. Sadly, people often go for the cheaper option, even if it means they’ll have to buy a replacement soon after. This makes it really hard for small, local shops to compete. They just can't keep up with Amazon's reach and low prices. It's kind of scary because if this keeps up, we might end up with Amazon being one of the only places left to shop, and by then, they'll have the power to set whatever prices they want. That means fewer choices for us and likely higher prices down the road.
