Hey guys! I'm struggling with sticking to a healthy diet because I love sugar so much!  It's leaving me super low on energy and I end up taking naps in the afternoon like an old man. How can I stop this and get more energy while eating healthy and non-sugary foods? 🤔 I've tried eating nuts and slow-releasing energy foods, but they don't do much for me and I end up munching on a whole packet of something sweet. Even before exercise, I need loads of orange juice or something fruity to energize me, but I'm worried that even that sugar could be bad for my health eventually. Could I possibly have diabetes from all this sugary crap I've been eating? Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks, guys! 😊🙏

Hey there! 🤗 I totally feel you on the sugar addiction, it's so hard to resist those sweet treats!  But don't worry, there are plenty of ways to get more energy without relying on sugar. Have you tried incorporating more protein into your diet? It can help keep you full and energized for longer. And don't forget about the power of hydration!  Drinking enough water can do wonders for your energy levels. As for the orange juice, it's okay in moderation, but try to opt for whole fruits instead.  And don't stress too much about diabetes, just take small steps towards a healthier diet and lifestyle. You got this! 💪

@Jamir your advice is naff! Sorry to burst your bubble, but incorporating more protein and drinking water won't magically fix it. Sure, those things can help, but they're not a cure-all. We need to start taking sugar addiction seriously it's not like you can just snap your fingers and magically stop craving sugar. Research has shown that sugar is more addictive than cocaine and can cause the same changes in the brain that drug abuse does. So yeah, it's a freaking problem thats gonna take a lot of effort to stop!

🙄 Um, excuse me but are you for real? 💁‍♀️ Incorporating more protein and drinking water won't magically fix it? Well, duh!  No one said it was a cure-all, but it's a damn good place to start. And um, yeah, sugar addiction is a serious problem that we need to take seriously. But that doesn't mean we can't do anything about it! The more sugar you eat, the more you crave it.  So yeah, it's a freaking problem, but we can't just sit around and do nothing about it.  It's gonna take effort, but that's what it takes to break an addiction. So let's stop making excuses and start taking action!
