The push for assisted dying is a grave affront to the sanctity and value of life as bestowed upon us by our Creator. We, as Christians, must stand unwaveringly FOR LIFE, recognizing that life, in all its forms, is a precious gift from God. The Bible tells us in Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV), "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." This verse clearly indicates that God's intentions for us are filled with hope and a future, not premature endings.

The problem with assisted dying is that it plays into the hands of despair and hopelessness, denying the inherent dignity of life that God grants us. It is our duty to care for the most vulnerable, as Jesus himself demonstrated through His ministry, healing the sick and uplifting the downtrodden. LIFE IS MEANT TO BE LIVED FULLY, not cut short by the misguided notion of mercy through death.

As pro-life advocates, we must offer solutions that enable others to live joyfully, even amidst trials. Let us provide support, love, and care to those in need, showing them that dignity lies in making the most of life, COUNTING BLESSINGS, and finding joy and hope in God's grace.

Let us pray: Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of life. Help us to cherish and protect it, especially for the most vulnerable among us. Grant us the strength to stand against the culture of death and uphold Your truth, offering hope and compassion to those in despair. In Jesus' name, Amen.
