Those who, without batting an eye, rip off vulnerable individuals suffering from health conditions. To these leeches, I was just another desperate customer in need of a brace, ready to be fleeced. So, let me tell you the tale of how I was brazenly ripped off, managed to claw my money back, and how I found the very same brace I was after for a fifth of the price elsewhere. Yes, you read that right - One. Fifth. Of. The. Price. My tale of woe began when I purchased a brace from Podobrace to alleviate my health condition. Fast forward a few weeks, and I'm still braceless, my emails and concerns conveniently ignored. At this point, my only ray of hope was a chargeback. For those unfamiliar, a chargeback is, in essence, a refund issued by your credit card company when you dispute a charge on your account. This was the only way I could get my money back as Podobrace was skilfully evading my attempts at communication. Having successfully initiated a chargeback, I decided to venture once more into the world of online shopping. This time however, I steered clear of the paid ad listings where online scam shops like Podobrace lurk. I found the exact same brace elsewhere, costing a mere fraction of what Podobrace demanded. When the brace arrived quickly, I was relieved. Far from perfect, it wasn't the miracle cure I had hoped for. Yet, the knowledge that I saved myself from paying an exorbitant 5x price made the purchase worthwhile. It's safe to say that my experience with Podobrace was an absolute nightmare.
