I am absolutely outraged at the proposed welfare reforms by the Tories! The very idea of stripping benefits from individuals suffering from depression and anxiety if they don't accept jobs forced upon them is absolutely despicable! Many of these jobs are unsuitable, low-paid, or dead-end, nothing more than veiled attempts at exploiting the vulnerable. And don't get me started on the alleged apprenticeships that are nothing but a ploy for companies to pay less than a minimum wage, or worse, the unpaid "work experience" that is nothing short of free labour. It's a slap in the face for those already struggling!

Moreover, the proposal to strip GPs of their power to sign people off work is an absolute travesty. Instead, the Tories plan to hire private companies, devoid of any medical expertise, to judge if someone is capable of work. This is not only highly unethical, but it's also a dangorus and could worsen peoples mental health... adding more pressure to the NHS and cositng the tax payer even more money. It's clear that these "reforms" are nothing but a nanny state power grab and an attempt to further marginalize the most vulnerable of our society and blame them for all the countries problems.

Couldn't agree more with you clemy. It's clear as day that the Tories are clutching at straws here, trying to win a battle they've already lost. They know they're on the way out, and instead of bowing out gracefully, they're resorting to these deplorable tactics to have one last dig at the most vulnerable in our society. This isn't just a sadistic power play; it's downright undemocratic.

It's almost comical how they think this will save money. It will cost a fortune to hire these bureaucrats, not to mention the billions it costs to run job centres. It's like burning money and then bragging about the heat it produces. It just defies all logic!

The implications of this are more horrifying than one can imagine. Forcing individuals suffering from depression and anxiety to undertake work they are not mentally prepared for can lead to severe consequences, both at an individual and societal level. This can lead to an increase in homelessness, which in turn leads to further mental health issues, drug addiction, and crime. The very fabric of our society is at stake here.

If they were truly concerned about the costs, they'd realise that this would only put more strain on the NHS and taxpayers. But alas, cost cutting isn't the motive here, cruelty is.

This is just the icing on the cake after the Tory party's horrendous handling of the COVID-19 pandemic. The lockdown and draconian restrictions have already pushed people to the edge, with depression and anxiety rates higher than ever before. Instead of acknowledging their share of the blame and trying to rectify their mistakes, they're doubling down on their harsh policies. It's nothing less than a twisted attempt to distract from their failures while feeding their own egos.

The audacity of these Tories is astounding! They award themselves a pay rise while they make plans to strip benefits from those most in need. It's sickening! And it's not just the Tories; I've lost faith in all political parties. They're all the same, self-serving and corrupt. This is just the latest in a long line of disgusting acts from a party that shouldn't even be in power.

The Tories have once again proven that they're not fit for governance with their blatant disregard for the welfare of their constituents.
